Hi, I'm David! The creator of BookMark.

The idea for this app came to me while working as a furniture repair technician. Over the years, I've watched ticket systems come and go - some bloated with features, others too fragile to rely on. But what really stuck with me was watching an IT pro at my company try to manage hundreds of requests across six locations using only an Excel sheet and a personal email. It wasn't just inefficient - it was painful.

I may be new to coding, but I'm no stranger to solving real problems. That moment sparked a challenge I couldn't ignore: build something better. Something real. Not flashy. Not complicated. Just functional.

And now, nearly a year later, BookMark is becoming the app I wish that tech - and so many others like him - had. Built for regular people, no computer science degree required.
